the wonder project
At the wonder project, we were thrilled to be shortlisted in the 2010 BETT awards. It's always nice to be recognised, but these awards aim to reward imagination and excellence in education. The recognise the way that our resources help you deliver great lessons. These are qualities that sit at the heart of all we do.
Our aim is to let you enjoy teaching by satisfying two needs. First we provide resources that engage young minds and invite them to wonder about themselves and the world they live in. Secondly we strive to create resources that let teachers prepare lessons quickly and confidently.
Launched in 2008, our first resources helped pupils consider their view of ultimate origins, and future resources will let them explore other areas of the curriculum.
Based just outside Bristol, UK, the wonder project works hard to create resources that solve identifiable needs in the teaching curriculum, and seek to create opportunities for cross-disciplinary work. In addition they present opportunities for wide range of learning styles and abilities.
We are always keen to receive feedback, or suggestions of other areas of content that could be covered. You can also keep up with our latest developments by reading our most recent newsletter.
In addition, we are open to teachers sending us resources that they have created, which they think would fit well with our range. We will then discuss royalty options if we decided to use or develop the ideas.
Happy teaching!
